Para ti

O coração cansado
Acorda da ilusão
Fica gelado
E espera a ocasião

Um fantasma sem rosto
Que quer caminhar
E mesmo sem ser suposto
Continua a sonhar

Já não procura nada
Até um dia o encontrar
Mesmo à porta da entrada
Lá está ele a cantar

Com muitas perguntas
E tantas respostas
As mãos ficaram juntas
E nunca sobrepostas.

Perguntavam-lhe:
- Artur, és do Sporting ou do Benfica?
- Sou do Benfica.
Logo a seguir perguntavam:
- Artur, és do Benfica ou do Sporting?
- Sou do Sporting.
Um dia para espanto de todos:
- Artur, és do Sporting ou do Benfica?
- Sou do Belenenses.
Desatou a correr e a gritar:
- É o programa das festas! É o programa das festas!

O futuro em vias de extinção

Lembro-me de vos ouvir falar no futuro. O nosso futuro…

Saturday night

Naquele sábado senti-me bonita.

"Today she's been working, she's been talking, she's been smoking,
but it'll be alright,
Cos tonight we'll go dancing, we'll go laughing, we'll get car sick,
and it'll be okay like everyone says, it'll be alright and ever so nice,
We're going out tonight, out and about tonight.

Oh, whatever makes her happy on a Saturday night,
Oh whatever makes her happy, whatever makes it alright.

Today she's been sat there, sat there in a black chair, office furniture,
but it'll be alright,
Cos tonight we'll go drinking we'll do silly things,
and never let the winter in,
And it'll be okay like everyone says, it'll be alright and ever so nice,
We're going out tonight, out and about tonight.

Oh, whatever makes her happy on a Saturday night,
Oh, whatever makes her happy, whatever makes it alright.

we'll go to peepshows and freak shows,
we'll go to discos, casinos,
we'll go where people go and let go

oh whatever makes her happy on a saturday night..."

Friday morning

Sexta-feira de manhã
A noticia
O grito
O medo
O vazio
A ferida
O escuro
O frio
O pesadelo
Não

"Friday mourning,
I'm dressed in black
Douse the houselights,
I'm not coming back
For years, I warned you
Through tears, I told you
Friday mourning, there comes a time
A fall that breaks this very smug mug of mine
...................................
Friday, friday mourning
Dressed in black
I won't be coming back"

Thursday

"We used to meet every Thursday Thursday
Thursday in the afternoon
For a couple of beers and a game of pool
We used to go to a motel a motel
A motel across the streetAnd the name of the motel was the Wagon Wheel
Oh One day she said come on come on she said
Why don't you come back to my house
She said my husband's out of town
You know he's gone till the end of the month
Well I was just so nervous so nervous
You know I couldn't really quite relax
Cause I was never really quite sure when her
Husband was coming back
Sure one of the neighbors yea one of the neighbors
One of the neighbors that saw my car
And they told her yea they told herI think they know who you are
Well her husband he's a violent man a very violent and jealous man
Now I have to leave this town
I got to leave while I still can
We should have kept it every Thursday Thursday
Thursday in the afternoon
For a couple of beers and a game of pool
We should have kept it every Thursday Thursday
Thursday in the afternoon
For a couple of beers and a game of pool
She was pretty good too"

Wednesday

Estás sempre a reclamar.

Meet a part of me that feels like every other day.
It has been seen in pictures and in alleyways.
Can see it through your walls.
Can see it through your fall.
Can see it on your floor, wrongway.
Lift your head up, Wednesday.
It's almost 2:30.

When the walls start falling down you'll be last to be found.
That's allright, malt liquor.
So you can promise me a day.
Not gonna promise nothing anyway.
Say you will, say you will and then you don't.

Tuesday morning

"Too many sad days
Too many Tuesday mornings
I thought of you today
I wished it was yesterday morning
I thought of you today
And I dreamt you were dressed in morning

But I knew that you
With your heart beating
And your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you
On a Tuesday morning"

Monday

O despertador do telemóvel toca.

"Six o'clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal blue
Italian stream
But I can't be late
'Cause then I guess
I just won't get paid
These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made

It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my funday
My I don't have to runday
It's just another manic Monday

Have to catch an early train
Got to be to work by nine
And if I had an air-o-plane
I still couldn't make it on time
'Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out what
I'm gonna wear
Blame it on the train
But the boss is already there

All of the nights
Why did my lover have to pick last night
To get down
Doesn't it matter
That I have to feed the both of us
Employment's down
He tells me in his bedroom voice
C'mon honey, let's go make some noise
Time it goes so fast
When you're having fun"

Sunday

As pessoas começavam a chegar e o Paulo começava a pôr musica.

"Yes...
I cant believe the news today
Oh, I cant close my eyes and make it go away
How long...
How long must we sing this song?
How long? how long...

cause tonight...we can be as one
Tonight...

Broken bottles under childrens feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end street
But I wont heed the battle call
It puts my back up
Puts my back up against the wall

Sunday, bloody sunday
Sunday, bloody sundayow long..."

Sunday bloody sunday - U2
